Documents for SSC and HSSC (Matric and Intermediate) must be verified by the relevant educational boards before obtaining IBCC attestation. The Inter Board Coordination Commission (IBCC) is the official body responsible for attesting documents issued by all educational and technical boards in Pakistan. IBCC attestation is essential for those planning to apply abroad for further studies. Additionally, many institutions in Pakistan, including universities, colleges, and testing authorities like MDCAT, also require IBCC attestation.

How to Attest Documents from IBCC?

To get an attestation from IBCC you need to book an appointment online at the IBCC official website online appointments before visiting the IBCC office in person. You have to mention your required documents which you want to attest and copies of the documents if you want to attest them as well.

IBCC retains the verified copies from the board that you bring with you, and on the basis of those verified copies, they attest your original documents from the backside with a seal and stamp.

All the boards provide verification in a sealed envelope which only IBCC authorities are allowed to open, but the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad provides open documents without any sealed envelope.

There are two appointment categories for attestation, one is normal and 2nd is executive. Here are the fee details for both categories.

IBCC Attestation Fee:

  • The fee for the normal appointment is PKR 1200/per document, and PKR 600/per copy of the original. Booking for normal appointments you have to wait for 2 days to 2 weeks, sometimes more.
  • The fee for the executive appointment is PKR 3000/per document. Executive appointment of specially introduced for same-day delivery.

If you submit your documents at the IBCC office before 01:00 pm you will get the attestation on the same day, if you submit documents after 01:00 pm you have to collect your attested documents the next day.

Things to Remember Before Attestation:

For documents attestation from IBCC always book an appointment before visiting the IBCC office.

You can attest your documents from IBCC Regional Offices located in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta and Bahawalpur.

Remove plastic coating (hard ) from your documents because IBCC paste an attestation stamp and seal on the back of your document.
