FBISE Migration Certificate (NOC)
FBISE Migration certificate or NOC (no objection certificate) is the same document that is used to migrate from Federal Board to other boards. Here is the complete procedure of how to get the Migration Certificate from FBISE, online or in person.
Some students require a Migration certificate to change the board after class 9 or Matric and some students can require it after class 11 or 12. The process is different for Part-I and Part-II classes.
If a student wants to get the Migration after class 9 or 11 he needs to provide a ‘School/College leaving certificate’ along with a prescribed fee to get the Migration Certificate which is PKR 1000/- for local students and $35 for international students.
For the Migration of classes 10 and 12, there is no need for any document you can just pay the fee and get the migration certificate online or in person at the FBISE office in Islamabad.
Recently, most of the universities in Pakistan have made it mandatory for students to submit NOC as well as verification of result card/certificate from the concerned boards before enrolling them in university after Intermediate (class 12).
Migration Certificate Process
Migration certificates can be obtained online or by hand by visiting the FBISE office.
Self Service Machine (KIOSK)
Federal Board has recently installed Self Service Machines for the convenience of the general public. Now you can get your required document i.e Migration Certificate without waiting and standing in long queues.
Generate a challan for your desired service for example Migration then submit the fee to the bank or pay online through payment apps.
After payment of the prescribed fee at the bank or online, all you need to do is go to this KIOSK machine click on the Migration Certificate tab, and then put your challan number in the field, submit it. A print of migration certificate will generated and then printed out from the machine instantly.
This service is available at the Federal Board Islamabad office only if you are from outside Islamabad or abroad you need to follow the online procedure mentioned below;
Online Migration Certificate Process
The procedure for an online migration certificate is very simple you need to go to the Federal Board official website > Online Services tab >
click on the Migration tab, and an online form will open.
Just fill out the form and enter the challan number which you paid online or any other way and submit the form with valid information, so you can get the requested document.
Migration certificate/NOC will be delivered through email in PDF format at your given email address within 3 to 4 working days.
Cancelation of Migration Certificate:
In case a candidate wants to cancel his/her Migration Certificate and continue studying with the Federal Board, he/she can do so by paying the prescribed fee which is PKR 500/- and submitting the Migration certificate in original at the FBISE office Islamabad in person.
