Boards of Education in Pakistan:

The literacy rate in Pakistan is more than 58%, covering big cities like Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, and Rawalpindi. But still literacy rate covers only those who studied Secondary Level education or below. Higher education is way more expensive for the general public. There are limited resources in the country to give free education to children. Pakistan spends more of its budget on defence or infrastructure development which leads to a poor educational system.

However, 32 educational boards are working in Pakistan, including the Technical Education Boards as well. Here is a Province wise complete list of all:

Islamabad, Capital Territory

Being the Capital of Pakistan, Islamabad has its own Education Board, which serves areas where no other Education board has jurisdiction. Like Gilgit Baltistan and some far areas of Balochistan. Moreover, the Federal Board has the authority to conduct exams outside Pakistan for Pakistanis living abroad.

Punjab is the most populated province of Pakistan, it has the most number of educational boards in all the provinces
