BISE Lahore: Introduction
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore also known as BISE Lahore in short, is considered one of the oldest Education boards in Pakistan, established in 1954 to conduct examinations at SSC (Matric) and HSSC (Intermediate) levels. It is also considered as the largest board as per the strength of students who appear in Matric and Intermediate exams. An estimated 350,000 to 400,000 students appear annually in SSC & HSSC exams every year.
History of BISE Lahore
Before the establishment of BISE Lahore, the University of the Punjab, Lahore was authorized to conduct Secondary School level exams in Punjab. In 1954 through the Punjab University Act Ordinance, BISE Lahore was established, and 1st exam of the Matric level was conducted in 1955. Initially, BISE Lahore was authorized to conduct Exams in Baluchistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan as there was not a local Education board in these areas. But later on, BISE Quetta and BISE Mirpur were established to conduct exams at their level, whereas Federal Board Islamabad was authorized to conduct exams in Gilgit-Baltistan. BISE Lahore is now authorized to conduct exams at the Matric and Intermediate levels in the Lahore Division only, which consists of Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib. Currently, Choudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa has been serving as chairman of the Lahore board for 03 years.
Online Services at BISE Lahore
Lahore Board provides most of the services online through E-Services Portal. You can get Online Verification of the Result Card/Certificate, NOC/Migration Certificate, and Duplicate Result Card/Certificate. BISE Lahore also provides verification facilities for Government, semi-government, and Private departments for hiring purposes. A candidate also can get his credentials verified by the Lahore board for applying for a job.
In case of applying for study abroad or immigration, a candidate needs verification as well from the board office and then from IBCC. The whole process of document verification is a long procedure that can followed step by step.

BISE Lahore Result
BISE Lahore conducts exams in May-June every year and results will be announced in August-September. The results of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore can be checked by name or by roll number in the result gazette provided in PDF format.
